Building the Future of Learning — Together
Education is a shared responsibility. It belongs not to one institution, but to all of us — teachers, parents, learners, researchers, and policymakers who believe that knowledge should serve both people and planet.
The IntelliPlay Curriculum Redesign Project is a public-interest initiative that seeks to revitalize the South African curriculum in alignment with the CAPS framework, while expanding its interpretive depth, inclusivity, and real-world relevance.
This is not a parallel curriculum. It is a living framework designed to strengthen and modernize public education, ensuring that learning remains responsive, creative, and equitable in a changing world.
Why Collaboration Matters
The task before us is vast — redesigning curricula content across learning areas, building modular frameworks, and developing open educational resources that benefit all. Such transformation cannot exist in isolation and requires institutional partnerships, educator involvement, governmental collaboration, and private/NGO support. Each partnership contributes shared stewardship of education’s future.
An Invitation to the Department of Education
We invite the Department of Basic Education, provincial education offices, and curriculum specialists to explore how IntelliPlay can enhance CAPS delivery, support teacher development, foster creativity, literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, and contribute to a national movement toward future-ready education.
For Institutions, Schools, and Private Bodies
We welcome collaboration with universities, schools, foundations, NGOs, and private sector organizations to design, pilot, and refine educational models that bring renewed meaning to South African classrooms.
How You Can Support
Contribute via research partnerships, pilot programs, resource development, funding, or advisory participation — helping build long-term, transformative curriculum strategies.
